Cypress Community Festival
The Cypress Community Festival is always one of the most popular summer festivals in the OC, attracting over 20,000 people each year. Held on the 22nd of July this year, this is one of the largest festivals in the region and is kicked off with an early morning 5K and 10K run, followed by a big pancake breakfast. Other activities throughout the day include a car show, family games, children’s rides, arts and crafts and a chili cook-off, as well as four main stages that will be featuring several different musical acts continuously.
Love Long Beach Festival 2017
Located at the Shoreline Aquatic Park, the Love Long Beach Festival 2017 will be taking place on the 29th and 30th of July. This two-day festival celebrates all that Long Beach has to offer, with so much entertainment on-site, from beach volleyball and yoga to a massive beach dance party. The evening brings about a Luau, where you will be able to sample a wide range of delicious foods, as well as purchase snacks from gourmet food trucks.
Sawdust Art & Craft Festival
The Sawdust Art and Craft Festival takes place in Laguna Beach, from the 30th of June until the 3rd of September. This festival sees over 200 local artists gathering together to display their work, and is attended by art enthusiasts from all over the country. There is no judging taking place when it comes to the work on display here, as the emphasis is placed on art appreciation instead, and the art demonstrations and workshops available through the summer help to back this up. Whether you are interested in painting and sculpture, or photography and hand-blown glass, you will see so many different types of art at the Sawdust Festival.
Huntington Beach Beer Festival
The annual Huntington Beach Beer Festival will be taking place this year on the 26th of August and celebrates both craft beer as well as live music. Held at the Huntington State Beach, the festival will be showcasing a number of local and regional breweries, with 64 different vendors set to be in attendance. No matter which ticket you buy, you will be able to enjoy free samples of over 100 different craft beers, so make sure that you have arranged for a ride home! The continuous live music entertainment also really adds to the vibe, with everything from a Weezer tribute band to Australian rock and roll.
