Burj Al Arab
Frequently rated as the most luxurious hotel in the world, the sail-shaped silhouette of the Burj Al Arab has become an iconic part of the city of Dubai, and its exclusivity is partly due to the fact that it is situated on its very own man-made triangular-shaped island. This suite-only hotel promises the ultimate in decadence, offering a number of luxury features for their guests, from Rolls Royce-chauffeured shopping trips to multi award-winning restaurants, one of which is a world-famous underwater aquarium restaurant.

Wild Wadi
Located next to the Burj Al Arab, Wild Wadi is the only themed amusement park in the UAE, and its water-based rides are a welcomed refreshment from the heat of the city. There are over 30 rides and attractions to choose from, aimed at a wide audience, so whether you are seeking adrenaline-pumping adventures or a relaxed splash in a tide pool, this is the place to go to cool off.

Jumeirah Mosque
Located at the north end of Jumeirah Road, the Jumeirah Mosque is considered to be the most beautiful of Dubai’s many mosques. It is also the only mosque in the city that is open to non-Muslims, with the Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding offering up guided tours of the mosque each day. While the exterior of the mosque may not be too impressive for those who are used to more extravagant displays of Islamic architecture, the interior is stunning, and needs to be seen in order to be appreciated.

Jumeirah Beach
While certain sections of Jumeirah Beach are reserved for guests of the hotels that line the beach, Jumeirah Beach Park is open for the public to enjoy. This white sand beach boasts a number of fun-filled activities, from beach sports to water sports, as well as restaurants and caf├ęs where you can sit back, relax, and take in your surroundings.

Safa Park
One of Dubai’s finest parks, Safa Park costs a few dirhams to enter, but is a welcome green oasis in the heart of the city. This exceptionally manicured park is perfect for an afternoon picnic, and also has several playgrounds for children, as well as jogging trails for the public to use.

Madinat Jumeirah
The Madinat Jumeirah hotel complex is magnificently vast and lavishly decorated, with an almost surreal ambience about it. In addition to luxury hotels and villas, the Madinat Jumeirah also boasts a sprawling shopping mall and entertainment complex, with Venetian-style canals and gondolas to help visitors to make their way around.

Jumeirah was once an isolated fishing village, that was not even connected to the city of Dubai. Today, this vibrant area is filled with world-class landmarks that are known for being some of the finest in the city, making it forever a joy to explore.
